Nestle Excellencia Series

Nestlé S.A. is a Swiss transnational food and drink company headquartered in Vevey, Vaud, Switzerland. It is the largest food company in the world, measured by revenues and other metrics, since 2014. It ranked No. 64 on the Fortune Global 500 in 2017 and No. 33 on the 2016 edition of the Forbes Global 2000 list of largest public companies.

Nestlé's products include baby food, medical food, bottled water, breakfast cereals, coffee and tea, confectionery, dairy products, ice cream, frozen food, pet foods, and snacks. Nestlé has 447 factories, operates in 194 countries, and employs around 339,000 people.

The Challenge

The launch of a premium baby food is a cause for celebration, but also a point of discussion, with this being a highly regulated sector. Whilst our client supports and propagates Breast Milk from the Mother as being the best for the baby, there are several cases that lead to malnutrition in babies wherein a baby cannot be breastfed for many reasons and this is where Nestle’s range of products focussing on Infant Nutrition comes handy for the Mother.

However, Above the Line Advertising for these products is disallowed by law, hence we rely on the Science which is always a draw for HCPs (Health Care Practitioners). The challenge however exists as the experiential marketing company on how to launch a product with no mention or appearance of the product whatsoever!

The Objective was to propagate Science through Experiential learning and to strike the right cord with the messaging “Nurturing Tomorrow’s Excellence, Today!”

Our Solution & Outcome

Tomorrow’s Excellence was the key messaging and we had two Child prodigies showcasing their talents, literally starting the show. 10-year old child prodigy Lydian on the Grand piano and 11-year old Shaurya, India’s youngest Abstract painter started the show with their LIVE un-faltered un-assumed scintillating and well-crafted performances, wowing the audiences as a result and immersing them into a session for learning that projected what the new age Mother expects from her child – to be the best he / she wants to be and not necessarily tows the line that a generation before focussed on – future via Studies only. It could be Excellence in any format they desire to be excellent in, and a right foundation of nutrition in infancy helps achieve the same.
