Vestas Wind Systems A/S is a Danish manufacturer, seller, installer, and servicer of wind turbines. It was founded in 1945, and as of 2013, it is the largest wind turbine company in the world. The company operates manufacturing plants in Denmark, Germany, India, Italy, Romania, the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Australia, China, and the United States, and employs more than 21,000 people globally.

The Challenge

Whilst the Company had a presence in India for the last 25 years and no plans to abandon the growing Indian market, they were fading away from the minds of the Industry itself, thus shrouding a cloud over their mega expansion plans for India.

They wanted to get back into the public memory and be seen as an organization that is in India for good.

Our Solution & Outcome

We proposed a rejig of their marketing activities relying heavily on live communications. Two events were planned for their entire stakeholder community including customers, Government officials, supply chain partners and members of the media. Carefully detailing the events around India elements, be it in Food, Entertainment, program styling or the messaging, we managed to create events that sent the right shockwaves within the Wind Energy industry of a company resurgent and ready to take the leadership space in India that it globally commands.
