Luminous Power Technologies is the leading power and home electrical specialist in India having a vast portfolio comprising of Power back up solutions such as UPS, Batteries and Solar Applications to Electrical offerings such as Fans, Wires, Switches and LED lighting.

With 7 manufacturing units, more than 28 sales offices in India and presence in over 36 countries, its’ 6000 employees serve more than 60,000 channel partners and millions of customers. A part of Schneider Electric, Luminous is a shining example of an Indian Company literally breaking boundaries and launching new products as part of its growth strategy.

The Challenge

In 2018, LUMINOUS FANS, a young SBU, was faced by a stoic challenge – on how to acknowledge their Sales team that had NOT performed (as expected). The Company wanted to notice the hard work, intent and dedication of its team, whilst also conveying that the road ahead was not easy but that the Leadership was firmly behind them in that endeavour.

The idea was to curate a programme that was engaging, entertaining, incorporated LIVE addresses including by that of the Managing Director of the Company, but at the same time subtle, not ostentatious and of course launching the new range that was to be imbibed in the whole narrative.

Our Solution & Outcome

Basing our theme around the 4 iconic cities the new product range was based on, New York, Rio de Janeiro, Jaipur and London, we curated a Fashion Show that reflected distinct styles of the 4 Cities. In addition, we also requested for having the entire Management Team as Models at our disposal and boy, did we make good use of that! From CTO to CFO to MD to SBU Heads, the Leadership walked the ramp with professional models to hoots, whistles and catcalls, quite literally bringing the house down.

Quotes from Inspiring relatable people from the past adorned the walkway to the main room, thereby letting the TG to know – its OK to fail!

The Fans division is on a rebound and steadily building its market share.
